Kick off meeting / 12 June 2023

High-ranking executives of EUNICE Energy Group, representatives of the research consortium, as well as representatives of institutional and academic bodies were present during the presentation of the pioneering European research project CRAVE H2, at the InterContinental Athenaeum, on Monday 12 June 2023.

EUNICE Energy Group is the coordinator and leader of the project consortium. The list of partners also encompasses Industrie De Nora, an Italian multinational company developing advanced electrolysis systems, Ballard Power Systems Europe, a manufacturer of PEM fuel cell products for a variety of markets and applications, and the Region of Crete, actively involved in the regulatory, social and political aspects of the project. Solmar Tours, the largest company in the tourism sector of Crete and one of the leading tour operators in the region, as well as Politecnico di Torino, one of Europe’s leading technological universities, the National Centre for Research and Technological Development (EKETA), and the research department of the Greek Electricity Distribution Network Operator Energy Distribution Network (DEDDIE).

The Head of Communication & Media Relations of EUNICE Energy Group Ms. Maria Michalaki stated: “EUNICE Energy Group has been developing a rich palette of high-tech and efficient green energy solutions for years. Today, however, it is launching a pioneering European Green Hydrogen Project. The project is co-funded by the European Commission and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, and led by the Eunice Energy Group and involves stakeholders and representatives from different areas, such as industry, academia, regional/national authorities and businesses, each with a different role in the hydrogen value chain.”
